Tamil Nadu education department is conducting counselling for the government school teachers. This will be only for the staffs in the promotion list and it has started from June 29, 2009 and will be conducted till July 06, 2009. The counselling sessions will be held at Chennai. The education department has divided the sessions separately for high school headmaster/headmistress and post graduate teachers.

The counselling will be held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ashok Nagar in Chennai on July 01, 2009. for the vacancies of post graduate teachers, it will be held at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Saidapet.
